PSR BIG Camp Report: Class of 2026 Brandon Simmons is Elite

Brandon Simmons | DL | 2026

6’1” | 240

HS: Glassboro | NJ

Grade:  FBS

Stats:  46 tackles, 13 tfl, 7 sacks, 1 PD, 2 FR

Brandon Simmons, Jr. of Glassboro is another tweener who could project as either an edge player or interior d-linemen at the college level. His size (6’1” 240lbs), production (46 tackles, 13 TFL, 7 Sacks, 1 PD, and 2 FR), and ability to play interior or edge in even and odd fronts are all the evidence you need of it. The scary part? He also just has one season of high school football under his belt… as a freshman.

Simmons’ ability to dominate starts with his plus-get-off.  As quickly as he gets off the ball he maintains control of his body, avoiding getting too much depth in the backfield and eliminating the opportunity for gashing seams to develop. This jump enables him to be nearly unblockable when the offense is tasked to reach him.

His go-to shed move is the snatch, which he uses to disengage and rally to the ball carrier. Very fast when aligned inside, Simmon does not seem like he can be blocked one-on-one and follows pullers extremely well.

Offers:  UNC-Charlotte, West Virginia
