Size, speed, tenacious pursuit. Samuel checks every box a premier college program would want. At 6’5, 230 pounds, he has the length needed to contend with elite left tackles and enough size and strength to hold up against the run.
He has a great first step and good bend around the edge to attack the quarterback with a speed rush, but he’s not reckless. It’s impressive to see a young man with so obvious physical gifts play under control, never giving up his responsibility or his leverage while improving his position in the backfield. It shows great discipline and attention to detail.
With a bit more training in hand fighting, Samuel will be an elite prospect as an edge rusher. He currently holds multiple FBS Offers including Boston College, Wisconsin, and PITT.
