Scouting Report: IOL Philip Hatfield

Philip Hatfield | IOL | 2026

6’0″ | 300 | Wing: —| Hand:

HS: Winslow Twp. | NJ

Grade: DI FCS

If a Center pulling is a big part of your offense, then Philip Hatfield is a guy you need to check out. Coming off his Freshman season where he started all 10 games, Hatfield has pulled more times last year than most Centers do in their career. And he does it well. When he pulls, he often levels the end man on the line of scrimmage. But the most impressive tool he has in his bag is the ability to reach block a 7 tech from the Center position. You do not see that very often. Philip also gets up to the second level well. And if you need a yard on 4th and 1, a QB sneak behind Hatfield is a safe bet. In the pass game Hatfield sees blitzes well and pick them up. When he’s uncovered he’s always active and looking for someone to hit.

This off-season Philip has transferred from Paul VI to Winslow Township High School. He attended camp at Notre Dame this summer and has spent the off-season hitting the weight room hard. Hatfield gained a lot of experience as a Freshman and still has 3 more seasons left in his High School career. If Linemen were investments I would buy in early on Philip Hatfield because he’s a really good player and only going to continue to improve.
