Scouting Report: OL Cameron Lavette

Cameron Lavette | OL | 2024

6’3″ | 310 | Wing: — | Hand: —

HS: Woodstock | GA

Grade: DII

Cameron has great size for an interior lineman at 6’3, 310 pounds, and is a force in the Woodstock Wolverines run game. He has a good first step for a 300-pound lineman, getting into defenders quickly and gaining superior leverage for his running backs. Cameron shows exceptional movement as well, regularly being depended on for inside traps and clearing out the C Gap of Defensive Ends for those slow-to-develop run plays.

He blocks to the whistle, often planting his blocking assignments, and also combos off to the second level very well. Cameron’s film shows good hand placement and mobility in pass pro, sometimes crossing the formation to protect his QB. His stellar play led to him being invited to the O-D Bowl, a very exclusive All-Star game

Cameron’s had a very busy off-season, honing his skills with Velocity Football Academy in Georgia and attending several camps and showcases including Coastal Carolina, Troy, and Georgia Tech. His performance was so good at a Regional Camp, that he was selected for “The Show”, an exclusive national invite-only camp. The experience he gained this off-season should produce big production and big offers next season.
