Scouting Report: OL Will Smith

Will Smith | OL | 2025

6’5″ | 300 | Wing: 82″ | Hand: —

HS: St Thomas More | CT

Grade: DI FCS

Will’s strongest attribute is his versatility. He can play all 5 positions on the Line. While he gets the majority of his snaps on the interior, his long fame and 82 inch wingspan would allow him to transition to Tackle at the next level. He has great hands and is a natural at resetting his hand placement to get them inside on a defender. He has a solid anchor and does well against a bull rush. Will does a great job at getting nose to nose with defenders, preventing them from engaging half man. He also shows good strength in the run game and gets off combo blocks and up to the next level quickly.

As a highly touted Linemen from Canada, Smith visited the University of Buffalo and will visit Penn State this summer. Will has hit the weight room hard this off-season. That extra muscle should help him have an even stronger Junior season. I could see him playing in the Ivy League with his 4.0 GPA, when he heads to College in 2 years.
